Climate Change and rice cropping system: potential adaptation and mitigation strategies (digital document)

Some generic mitigation technologies have been identified in recent years, the immense variability of environmental factors in the 144 million ha of annually harvested rice fields defies blanket strategies to reduce emissions. Moreover examples of “robust” approaches that have a promising potential to reduce GHGs emission and at the same time, maintain or even increase rice production under climate change.
